- Yellow Padel balls are mandatory.
- The ball's diameter should be between 6.35cm and 6.77cm, weighing between 56.0 and 59.4 grams.
- It must bounce between 135cm to 145cm when dropped from 2.54m height. At higher altitudes, alternate balls meeting specific bounce criteria are used.
Padel Racket
- Rackets must not exceed 45.5cm length, 26cm width, and 38mm thickness.
- The surface can't exceed 26cm wide and 30cm long, perforated with unlimited holes.
- A wrist strap of around 35cm length is mandatory for safety.
- Handle length is limited to 20cm and thickness to 50mm.
Padel Court
- Court dimensions are 20m long by 10m wide, with wall and cage height specifications.
- Net dimensions, service lines, and court access points are defined.
- Lighting requirements include a minimum of 4 lights per court at a height of 6m.
Padel Time
- Matches have specific time allowances for warm-up, point intervals, change of sides, and medical timeouts.
- Walkover rules apply if players are not on the court 10 minutes after start time.
Padel Serve
- Serving rules include feet position, ball bounce behind the service line, height restrictions, landing zones, and number of serves per point.
Scoring
- Scoring follows Tennis-like formats, with sets, games, deuce rules, and tiebreak specifics.
- A golden point is played at deuce in some tournaments.
Other Points to Note
- Coin toss determines the first serve and side choice.
- Sides change at specific intervals during matches and tiebreaks.
